We are so happy you are here!
If you have a desire to strengthen your relationship with God and your spouse, you are in the right place. We launched Fulfilling Your Vows™ in February of 2012 as a means to help inspire married couples to create the marriage of their dreams through building an intimate relationship with Christ and in turn, one another. It is our hope that during your time here with us you will walk away refreshed and encouraged, ready to take your marriage to the next level.
We are college sweethearts and have been married since June 10, 2000.
We met at a college campus Bible study while attending Washington State University in fall of 1998, and the rest is history. Together we have three beautiful children (two boys and one girl) whom Carlie stays home with and also has the honor of homeschooling.
We are Certified Marriage Mentors® who love helping married couples create the marriage of their dreams!
One of the things that we enjoy doing most is helping others create the marriages they’ve always wanted. We’ve helped hundreds of couples over the years take their marriage from good to great through our Christ-focused marriage coaching and mentoring. It is an honor to sit side by side (or on a Zoom or Skype call) with couples and help them figure out what they want in their marriages and the path to help them get there.
We’re thankful for the call on our lives to help marriages thrive and flourish under God’s mighty hand. And one of the things we love about Christian marriage is the promise stated so well in Romans 8:31:
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
We are a recently retired military family.
Mike spent 15 years as an Active Duty Army soldier until retiring in the summer of 2017 due to combat-related injuries. We made it through 7+ years of separations to include 5 year-long combat tours. Without a strong relationship with Christ and excellent communication, we would have never made it through.
Both of us are honored to be able to model the example of Christ’s love to our children through our marriage.
We do our best to honor God on a daily basis teaching and instilling biblical values in our children. While we are imperfect, we are always making the most of every opportunity (both the good and the bad) to teach our children to be resilient and to love God and one another through it all. We both believe the single most important thing we can teach our children is to have Christ-like character. This is a challenge that we are up for and enjoy ministering to our children (as a united team) and to one another in our marriage.
It is our prayer that this website will bless everyone who visits. It is our desire to encourage everyone to seek to have a beautiful, Christ-focused marriage by fulfilling your vows with your spouse. We appreciate your friendships and are praying for each and every one of you!
